Checking the Accuracy of BAKER pHIX pH Papers and Sticks
Information
Question |
How can I check the accuracy of your BAKER pHIX papers or sticks? |
Answer |
The correct reading of BAKER pHIXTM strips can be verified in the user's lab with standard commercially available pH buffers. Standard buffers of pH values that correspond to the range and gradation of the pH strips should be used - preferably covering the lower, the medium, and the upper measuring range of the pH test strip to be verified. The pH strips are then dipped into the buffer solutions; the correct reading of pH strips can be verified by comparing the reaction color on the test field and the comparison color on the color-scale provided with the strips |
