CHEM-SOLV Laboratory Glassware Cleaner Instructions
Information
Question | How can I use CHEM-SOLV to clean my lab glassware? |
Answer | To use Macron 2157 CHEM-SOLV laboratory glassware cleaner, simply dilute 20-50 ml of the concentrate in 1 liter of distilled or deionized water and immerse soiled pipettes, columns, flasks or other apparatus into the solution. After just a few minutes, remove and rinse the equipment with enough water to eliminate all traces of the cleaner. Although not required, the cleaning process can be accelerated by heating the solution to 40-50 C or through brushing, swirling or ultrasonic vibration. CHEM-SOLV is not recommended for use in cleaning volumetric glassware.
